Delaware’s Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon Training

Our in depth class covers everything required by the State of Delaware as outlined
in 11 Del. C. § 1441 to obtain a CCDW permit. You will received instruction on the
proper safe handling of your firearm, the mechanics on how it functions and the
safe storage and uses of ammunition. You will understand the importance of child
safety and how to keep your firearm secure and inaccessible from children and
unauthorized adults. You will fully understand State and Federal laws pertaining to
firearms and the use of deadly force for self defence. You will also receive instruction
on ways to be more aware of your surrounding and how to manage a violent confrontation.
We require student participation throughout the class and on the range. We do not
offer material for take home study or videos to watch at your leisure. On the range
you will be required to shoot one hundred rounds of ammunition, bring more if you’d
like. You will be observed in your firearm handling and be introduced to concealed
carry practice drills. After finalisation, you will receive a letter of completion to submit
with your CCDW application for the courts.
Students that complete their CCDW training with us are welcome to sign on to our
Advance 1 CCDW course at no charge after receiving your permit.
